Dear Family and Friends,

It has been a long journey these last four years since our Steven passed away. But supported by your kind words and unfailing support, our hearts are a little lighter. We dearly miss our Steven but we laugh, cry, and talk about him as if he were still here with us. We loved him so!

But we could not have come this far without you and you are our heroes! Your generous support of the Steven E. Kurtz Foundation has already made a difference in the lives of so many people . We want to share with you the Organizations we are currently supporting and what your generosity has already generated and how your donations will be used as we move forward.

Through a dear friend and client of Steven’s , we were introduced to The Trush Family (Ken, Nancy, Daniel and Michael) who founded the non-profit, Daniel’s Music Foundation, in honor of their son Daniel. Daniel personally plays an important role in this community. Their Foundation has grown from a small, recreational music program to a full-fledged organization that uses the transformative power of music to unite individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Please visit their website to learn more about their members, their programs and their new music center

As you all know, our Susie loves Music and Theater! Susie was introduced to the non-profit, A BroaderWay Foundation, whose co- founder is the Broadway Star Ms. Idina Mendel. This Foundation makes a profound difference in the lives of young disadvantaged girls from urban areas who have the opportunity to participate in Camp Broader Way. It is a camp environment that can change the course of a life, helping a youngster develop self-awareness and motivate her to work hard to realize her potential. Please visit their website

What would the World be without Music and Theater? Music nourishes, restores and heals. Stevie will be proud of his legacy!

With Respect and Love,

Marge and Normand Kurtz & family
